What are the prizes?

Monthly Prize Draw:

  • One winner will receive a £100 voucher to spend on PADI Specialty products or PADI courses at their local PADI Diver Centre/Resort or with a PADI Professional
  • The winner and five runners-up will each receive material for the next month’s PADI Specialty of the Month.

Grand Prize Draw:

  • One winner (over the age of 18) will receive a fantastic holiday for two.

What is the entry process for divers?

  1. Divers complete this month’s Specialty of the Month course or the Specialty of the Year course.
  2. They complete an entry form (downloadable here and from padi.com) and give it to their instructor.
  3. The instructor attaches their entry form to their Specialty Certification envelope and they will be entered into the prize draw when PADI International Ltd (PIL) receives their application.
  4. All entries which have completed the current month’s Specialty of the Month or the Specialty of the Year will be entered into the Monthly Prize Draw.
  5. All entries received during 2008 will be entered into the Grand Prize Draw.

What are the Terms & Conditions?

  1. The Specialty of the Month draw is open to residents of PADI International Ltd (PIL) service territory *.
  2. The prizes are not transferable and no alternatives will be offered.
  3. Monthly Prize Draw:
    1. The £100 voucher entitles the bearer to £100 off a PADI Specialty product or course purchased in PIL territory.
    2. The voucher must be redeemed through a PADI Dive Centre/Resort or PADI Professional registered in PIL territory.
    3. The voucher is valid against purchases of £100 Sterling or more.
    4. When using the voucher, a full receipt detailing the purchase date, PADI Specialty product or PADI course and amount must be obtained.   The receipt and voucher should be returned to PIL.   Upon receipt, PIL will issue a cheque for £100 (only Sterling cheques can be issued).
    5. PADI reserve the right to replace the material for the next month’s PADI Specialty of the Month with an alternative PADI Specialty product.
  4. Grand Prize Draw:
    1. The final Grand Prize Draw is open to those aged 18 years and over.
    2. The Grand Prize draw will take place by January 31st 2009 and the winner will be the first name drawn from all entries received by the closing date. The winner will be notified in writing within 28 days of the draw taking place.
    3. Accommodation will be for 7 nights on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
    4. Any dive package will include all dives during the 7 day period.
    5. All departures are subject to availability and no changes can be made to the booking once it has been made. Seats are in Economy class on a space available allocation. All other expenses including food, drinks, spending money, travel expenses to/from the point of departure and travel insurance are not included in the prize, and will be the responsibility of the winner and their guest.
    6. It is the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner to ensure that they and their guest have valid passports and any necessary visas or other required documentation to comply with national and local travel or immigration regulations. Winners will also be responsible for taking any precautions necessary to ensure that all health advice for travel to this region is followed.
